Gawler Golf Club Inc t/a Sandy Creek Golf Club – ONLINE BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Gawler Golf Club Inc t/a Sandy Creek Golf Club (the Club) DOES NOT REFUND ONLINE PAYMENTS UNLESS THE COURSE IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED BY THE CLUB.

CONFIRMATION
• Successful online bookings will receive an automatic confirmation via email.
No further confirmation is required.
• The internet booking system is directly linked to the reservation software, and the customer will only be contacted if the Club has a query regarding your booking. If a confirmation email is not received, you must check that the email entered is correct. For queries, questions or problems with the Club Booking System please telephone (08) 8542 4231. You are required as proof of booking to provide the reference number or the credit card used to secure the booking at the time of registration to the reservations staff.
• The Club reserves the right to alter tee times without notice due to circumstances outside of the Club’s control. (E.g. lightning, slow play, course renovations).

TEE TIME MODIFICATIONS
• Bookings cannot be modified online. Modifications to tee times can be made by calling the clubhouse on (08) 8524 4231 or sending a detailed email to manager@sandycreekgolf.com.au together with a copy of the original confirmation email. No guarantee can be given for the requested date/time.
• Should you wish to modify or change your booking to an alternative time or date, you must contact the Club at least 48 hours before the reserved tee time, by phoning the Club on (08) 8524 4231 during business hours or emailing manager@sandycreekgolf.com.au. The Club will confirm availability of the new tee time date and time and when modifications cannot be processed immediately, a credit note will be issued.
• Should you not be able to confirm a re-scheduled tee time, a ‘credit note’ will be provided. To redeem the ‘credit’ you are required to reschedule the tee time at a mutually agreed time. Credit notes are issued for TEE TIMES ONLY.
• The Club reserves the right to refuse to issue a ‘credit note’ should you not provide at least 48 hours’ notice to the Club.
• Should a player of a prepaid group tee time become unable to play, you must advise the Club no later than 48 hours before the reserved time. Should 48 hours’ notice not be provided, the Club reserves the right to refuse to issue a credit note for this non played tee time.
• In the event that bookings are made in multiples and a player does not show, no refund will be given for the “no show” player. In the event that a player is unavailable to play for a pre-booked tee time reservation, at least 48 hours’ notice must be given to the Club and a credit note for the tee time will be issued. The ‘credit note’ will be issued and must be used at a mutually agreed time.
• You and any other player you have booked for must check in at the clubhouse a minimum of 15 minutes before your scheduled tee time. Should you not arrive and register in the clubhouse, you may risk the cancellation of your tee time. In this event a credit note will not be given.
• A credit note must be used in full before the credit note expiry date, partial credits will not be re-issued.
• In exceptional circumstances the Club may issue refunds. Refunds will only be paid towards the credit card used to secure the booking. In the event of a refund the credit card details must be supplied with the corresponding security pin number. After the confirmation of credit card details, refunds will be issued within 7 working days.
• The Club reserves the right to remove any person from the course if the rules of the Club have not been adhered to. These rules are consistent with the etiquette outlined by the R&A in the rules of golf and are monitored by golf operations staff.
• All persons utilising the Sandy Creek Golf Club golf course do so under the instruction of the Club’s staff. Failure to adhere to instructions may result in removal from the golf course.
No refunds will be given in the event that the customer is removed from the course.

CART HIRE
If the online booking includes cart hire, the following terms and conditions apply:
1. You accept total responsibility for the hired cart.
2. You will return the cart immediately following completion of use in as good condition as you received it, normal wear and tear excepted.
3. You are fully responsible for all damage to the cart and golf course during the hire period and will pay for any damage or loss (including any legal costs incurred by the Club for any such damage).
4. You are liable for any damage to the property of, or personal injury to, any third party which is caused or contributed to by you or any other person you allow to operate the cart.
5. The cart hire period is 4 hours 15 minutes for an 18 hole hire and 2 hours 10 minutes for a 9 hole hire and you acknowledge you may be required to pay an additional fee if the cart is not returned by the end of the hire period.
6. Only persons aged 18 years and over may operate the cart.
7. Carts must not be operated in a manner that may endanger passengers, other people or damage property.
8. A maximum of 2 persons and 2 golf bags per golf cart.
9. No standing or riding on cart bumper bars. All riding in the cart must be on the designated seats.
10. Cart operators must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
11. Carts are not to be driven onto teeing areas.
12. Carts are not to be driven on the closely mown greens surrounds or within 5 metres of greenside bunkers.
13. All directional signs must be followed.
14. When finished, the cart is to be returned to the front of the Clubhouse, the operating key turned to the off position, and the key returned to the Clubhouse.
