Due to the current heatwave, the course will be closed from 12.30pm on Monday 26 January 2026. In addition, to protect the course, no carts are allowed all day on both Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 January.
Monday’s Stableford competition has been cancelled, and given the current forecast, it is likely that Tuesday’s competition will also be cancelled.
HEAT STRESS
Members who play on days of extreme heat do so at their own risk and are advised to take appropriate actions to prevent heat stress.
Players are reminded the ultimate responsibility for their welfare in very hot weather remains with them.

- Consider not playing if you are especially at risk.
- Carry sufficient water and drink regularly, even if not feeling thirsty.
- Seek shade when waiting your turn to play. Use an umbrella and/or use the shade of the trees.
- Consider using a damp towel placed around the neck.
- Wear suitable clothing – light coloured, loose fitting clothes, of natural fibres or composite fabrics, with high wicking (absorption) properties that provide for adequate ventilation.
- Wear a wide-brimmed and well vented hat.
- Apply sunscreen to all exposed skin.
